The conversion to digital tv has already begun here in the Fort. Channel 56 has now been converted and there are four channels running on it instead of just one.

If you have a newer tv, switch your INPUT to DTV or DTA and your can receive 56-1, 56-2, 56-3 and 56-4. If you have an older tv without this option you can purchase an inexpensive converter box here in town.

The federal gov't has ordered that over the air broadcasting must convert to digital just like it did in the USA, but at a slower pace to accommodate rural areas. The changeover will result in far more channels being available through the TV Society.
